Wear Parts for MIG/MAG Welding Torches
Gas distributors for welding torches

The gas distributor is mainly used for aluminum welding and produces a uniform flow of shielding gas.

The materials used in our gas distributors impress with their long service lives.

Wear Parts for MIG/MAG Welding Torches
Inner liners for welding torches

The task of the inner liner is to feed the welding wire smoothly from the wirefeeder to the contact tip.

We provide the appropriate inner liners – and combinations of them – for every application area. Our range includes bare steel liners, coated steel liners, CrNi liners, Teflon liners, graphite liners, and bronze liners. Both the construction and the inner diameter of these inner liners perfectly complement Fronius welding processes.

Wear Parts for MIG/MAG Welding Torches
Small-gap gas nozzle

Narrow gas nozzle for optimal accessibility

Wear Parts for MIG/MAG Welding Torches
Gas nozzles for welding torches

The gas nozzle ensures a uniform flow of shielding gas into the welding process. This constant flow of gas protects the arc and the weld pool from the atmosphere. We have the right gas nozzle for every welding application.

Gas nozzles that have been specially developed for aluminum applications ensure that spatter rarely sticks, consequently reducing the turnover in wear parts.

Wear Parts for MIG/MAG Welding Torches
Contec contact tip

Ideal for aluminum and CuSi welding.
Features:
100% consistent contacting
Longer service life
Greater process stability
Constant tool center point (TCP)

Wear Parts for MIG/MAG Welding Torches
WQ contact tip

Ideal for steel and CrNi welding.

The WQ contact tip (tungsten-copper quality) is an CuCrZr contact tip with a tungsten-copper core. The high temperature resistance of tungsten is impressive and combines perfectly with the high electrical and thermal conductivity of copper. Applications where grinding might be involved will particularly benefit from a WQ contact tip. System availability increases and maintenance costs fall.

Wear Parts for MIG/MAG Welding Torches
CuCrZr contact tip

Ideal for steel/CrNi and aluminum/CuSi welding.

The CuCrZr contact tip is made from a copper-chrome-zirconium alloy. These alloy elements make its electrical conductivity slightly lower than that of the E-Cu contact tip, but its temperature resistance extends up to 500°C. CuCrZr contact tips are right at home in the medium to high ampere range for manual and robotic welding applications.

Wear Parts for MIG/MAG Welding Torches
E-Cu contact tips

Ideal for steel and CrNi welding.

E-Cu contact tips are made from pure electrolytic copper and boast outstanding electrical conductivity and good thermal conductivity. Electrolytic copper softens at around 260°C and has low wear resistance. E-Cu contact tips are primarily used in the low ampere range for manual welding applications.

MIG/MAG welding fume extraction
Exento fume extraction torch

Exento fume extraction torches and extraction sets eliminate the welding fumes directly where they are produced. Welding fumes are detected before they are able to spread, which not only protects the welder, but also all of the other people in the vicinity.

Exento fume extraction torches are the perfect complement to Exento HighVac systems. They meet the requirements of standard DIN EN ISO 21904-1 Health and safety in welding and allied processes.

Five different power categories:
3x air-cooled and 2x water-cooled
Extraction capacity controlled directly on the handle
Four different user interfaces available:
Up/Down, JobMaster, potentiometer, top torch trigger
LED light for welding in dark environments as well as for quality control
1.3 m leather protection tube directly on the handle for perfect protection against high temperatures and welding spatter
Quick tester of the extraction capacity directly at the suction nozzle

Welding fumes can be harmful to health, which is why Fronius believes in extracting the welding fumes directly at the point of origin – the welding torch. Thanks to fume extraction torches, the welder and their wider working environment are effectively protected against harmful emissions.

Compatible with every Fronius MIG/MAG welding torch – including the PushPull variants
Special geometry of the extraction nozzle for optimal fume capture without affecting the gas shield
Up/Down and JobMaster possible
Continuously adjustable extraction nozzle
LED light function may still be used, depending on the position of the extraction duct

Robotics Change Stations
Robacta TX/i
Automatic torch body changeover

Automatic torch body changeover in just 30 seconds.

The complete torch body is changed automatically without the need for human intervention while production continues. This ensures that all wearing parts that impact on the TCP and weld seam quality are replaced.

When the Robacta TX/i is used, different torch body geometries can be applied alternately - in one robot cell. Depending on the application, a whole welding cell can be saved.

Robotics Change Stations
Robacta CTC – Contact tip changer

Automatic contact tip changeover in just 50 seconds.

Changing the contact tip manually is time-consuming and necessitates an interruption to production. The Robacta CTC automates this work step. Changing the tip takes no more than 50 seconds - without production being halted for someone to intervene.

Pre-defined torques also reduce the risk of operating errors by maintenance personnel, thus extending the service life of the equipment.

Versions:
- Contact tip M6 ø8 / Gas nozzle ø25
- Contact tip M6 ø8 / Gas nozzle ø27
- Contact tip M8x1.5 ø10 / Gas nozzle ø25
- Contact tip M8x1,5 ø10 / Gas nozzle ø27

Contactless magnetic cleaning; Cleaning time of 0.5 seconds; TCP is not affected; Service life of gas nozzle is ten times longer compared with mechanical cleaning, since wear part surfaces are not damaged; Available for practically all torch geometries and gas nozzle shapes; Parting agent vessel with level monitoring and automatic refilling; Cleaning possible from 20 seconds charging time; 50 seconds charging time until maximum magnetic flux density is available for the cleaning process; Collecting container for welding residues; Four different coils: 30 mm, 35 mm, Twin, LaserHybrid; Optional: electric wire cutter

Steel Mechanical Cleaning - MIG/MAG robot welding torches
Robacta Reamer Single/Twin

Mechanical cleaning using milling cutter; Cleaning time of 4.5–6.5 seconds; Clean single and twin welding torches with one device; Suitable for torch bodies with 0°, 4°, 8°, and 11° contact tip angles; Wire cutter integrated in the clamping system; Robot probe for checking the TCP; Optional: various cleaning cutters, gas flow control, TCP Touch Sense

Steel Mechanical Cleaning - MIG/MAG robot welding torches
Robacta Reamer V Comfort

Mechanical cleaning using milling cutter; Cleaning time of 4.5–6 seconds; Parting agent is specifically applied to wear parts via a separate, sealed unit that prevents contamination of the robot cell; Level sensor for cleaning fluid; Separate collecting container for parting agent residues reduces contamination in the robot cell; Integrated TCP check: Detection of TCP displacement and contact tip wear via TCP Touch Sense; Robot probe for checking the TCP; Optional: electric wire cutter, various cleaning cutters, possibility of additional sensors (e.g., wire end sensor), gas flow control

Steel Mechanical Cleaning - MIG/MAG robot welding torches
Robacta Reamer V Easy

Mechanical cleaning using milling cutter; Cleaning time of 3–5 seconds; Milling cutter specifically targets wear parts when applying parting agent; Saves time by cleaning and spraying in one position; Dirt discharge into collection vessel; Robot probe for checking the TCP; Optional: electric wire cutter, various cleaning cutters, gas flow control

MIG/MAG robot welding torches
Robot Welding Torches

Push system and a Push/Pull system, which involves attaching a second wirefeeder directly to the torch body. This provides a stable welding process, even in the case of long wirefeed distances, soft filler metals, or special applications, such as CMT. Water-cooled versions of all robot welding torches are also available.

FlexDrive
FlexDrive WF 25i

A small and portable intermediate drive between the wirefeeder and welding torch.
