The composition of this material is designed for castings with a wall thickness of up to 40 mm. VAUTID W72 offers outstanding wear resistance against abrasion and moderate impact. Parts made in this material can also be annealed, to accommodate simple machining operations.
Recommended applications:
Cast components that are exposed to temperatures up to 400°C.
Cast components that require machining.
Thin-walled components (< 40 mm) that are subject to abrasion and impact, e.g. coatings on dosing feed gates, friction disks.
